Stars Lyrics
Here beginning for the end
When it's all gone
Why should I pretend
Oh, these days
Will never come back
Do you remember
Or did you forget?
Losing with every step I take
Losing with every move I make
Turn into everything I hate
Losing with every move I make
Looking at the stars, must be a reason
Why our hopes feel lost in the glow
[Unverified] for every season
Looking at the stars
See that they move on
Because I'm not sure
If you miss me, I move on
I move on, carry on
When it's all gone
Why should I pretend
Will never come back
Do you remember
Or did you forget?
Losing with every move I make
Turn into everything I hate
Losing with every move I make
Why our hopes feel lost in the glow
[Unverified] for every season
See that they move on
Because I'm not sure
If you miss me, I move on
I move on, carry on

It seems to me he might be talking about the passage of time and the concept of memory. In a despairing or nostalgic kind of way.
Isn't it 'beginning or end'?
Great song!
Great song - now do Medussa! ha! ha! It is beginning or end. Glow I think is cold and I move on is I go on at least twice in the song, I think, best ask Ulrich and Judith Good work harrisj
Heh, I would love to know the lyrics to Medusa... maybe we can get them from Ulrich directly...
feel lost in the DARK for every season
so much despair
I'm not sure if you miss me When I'm gone Right or wrong Carry on
So what was Schnauss's intention, re: "Here/Beginning or End/When it's all gone/Why should I pretend?/Oh these days/Will never come back" So he came to the conclusion that every moment was like every moment, and he was dealing with possibly having to accept that the moments in his life were lost? If he's trying to delude himself into pretending they will come back, then I can see where there would be this struggle. So trying to reclaim them, he loses and becomes everything he hates. When you look at the stars, something inside you responds to their natural beauty. That will always come back. Because they always come back. I guess looking at the stars and responding to their beauty gives you a reason to let go of everything else. And move on? From season to season. They do, anyway.
