Well, first off I would like to say that I can't believe no one has comment this song. This song is so great. My meaning of this song is that this girl never really thought much of relationships until she fell into her first one. And in this relationship she was really heartbroken for the first time. But no matter what, she will fight to stay strong and not let her weaknesses show.

in this song i think rihanna is explaining that shes not like all the other girls out there and doesn't get emotionally involved in relationships.. kinda like samantha from sex and the city but less skanky. But then she meets this guys and he played her and she let it happen. But she is still trying to be the other girl that doesn't let her feelings effect her but she can't help to feel heart broken.
