That seems pretty likely He was apparently kicked out, or quit Either way, he's not with the band anymore
The first verse is messed up. It's "You could never be one of us," not "About how you could never be without us" In the second verse, it's "It's your ego that controls you," not "If you recall they control you" During the bridge, it's "You better look down at your feet," not "You better lie down at your feet"
danny said the song was about christian in an interveiw...don't remember where i saw it.
i think the title is a direct hit at him christian always ended anything addressed to his fans with "without you i am nothing" i'm pretty sure it's a play on that.

i think that line is a hit at Christian's bipolar disorder
either way this song angers me more than the fact that danny seems to think Ligeia is a poem ( it's a story by Poe and there is a poen in it but it's referred to cas the conquerer worm and it's obvious he's never read either of them)
kind of ironic that they should put this song on the album they release right before they break up.
