This is my favorite song off of the kicks of passion. I wasnt too crazy about them until I heard this song. It was beautifully written. And deserves to be given a chance. So. Cmon! Listen to it!
As for the meaning: I'm thinking its to a girl. And she's going through relationship problems. She was really hurt by her boyfriend. And the singer is telling her that he'll always be here for her. "she may be down but she's breathing and still alive" as in, he was just a guy. And there is nothing to Fret over, and she'll be okay.
I'm pretty sure that it's "BABY, right now you look bored enough to die" instead of maybe. And I don't think there's an and in front of the "I've never hurt you" part. =)
