Our Addictions Lyrics

Silhouette in a smoke filled room
I see no evil and i speak none too
I know it's hard to say "no,
it was a long long time ago"
But now as a whole woman
You have to understand

Our addictions, break it hard
Our addictions, makin' it hard

Government conspiracy
Just as false as our reality
He said "take off your clothes"
And the war began
but it's a war at home
Were we ever free, if it's this easy

Our addictions, break it hard
Our addictions, make it hard

Our addictions make it hard
Our addictions make it hard
Our addictions make it hard
Our addictions make it hard

government conspiracy

it should say "just as false as our reality"

i think this is about war (esp. in iraq) and the addictions we have as a people to oil and other things. our addictions make us prisoners, we go to war over them, kill people over them, and we try to justify it or make excuses or distract ourselves with conspiracy theories. and it all makes it very hard for the world as a whole.
