this is a beautiful song. i really hope the best for colbie and when she gets more known i hope the press doesnt try and make her a bad person. she is a wonderful role model
This is a story of "too good to be true" syndrome. He's SO perfect to her, she can't believe he actually means what he says and does. So she thinks about leaving, but then tells herself to "back up, back up, take another chance" because she still believes there's a glimmer of hope left that he could be genuine. She just doesn't want to be left hanging on by a thread, waiting to find out if he really means all those wonderful little things he says.
