okay, it's not "under these covers" it's "under these COLORS"
please tell me what that means thought. i have no clue. but i checked the sleeve of the cd and it says colors, hence the name of the song.
i'm pretty sure this song is about his wife. on how she goes on tour with him and about their love, etc.

Colors could mean alot but my guesses are probably confetti(weddings have that) like xxrobot mentioned. It could also refer to the Las Vegas neon roof tunnel thing and you know Las Vegas is the place lots of couples get married.
Or simply it could refer to a beautiful sky or rainbow?
