New Song Lyrics
I'm drowning in your spider soul
They gave me hope to watch disease ?
Cause while your standing by my side
You break my bones and drain my arteries
Both your ventricles start beating,
Pressure builds
Mocking a groovy old heart, caving
Empty holes
But no-one knows
Where the atriums beat, and the ventricles meet
Where the atriums beat, and the ventricles meet
Collect my blood as it pools on the floor
Keep it in bottles on the higher shelf
So when you want to be with me once more
I'll reassemble from my cells
Both your ventricles start beating
Pressure builds
Mocking a groovy old heart, caving
Empty holes
But no-one knows
They gave me hope to watch disease ?
Cause while your standing by my side
You break my bones and drain my arteries
Pressure builds
Mocking a groovy old heart, caving
Empty holes
But no-one knows
Where the atriums beat, and the ventricles meet
Keep it in bottles on the higher shelf
So when you want to be with me once more
I'll reassemble from my cells
Pressure builds
Mocking a groovy old heart, caving
Empty holes
But no-one knows

I love this song well I love all TPC songs. They need to come up with the name I think they're going to put this on the Full lenght but I don't know I hope so. I wish they put Happy Valentines day on the Full lenght but ofcourse they are not. :(
Hey arcadeintokyo Do u know where can i find the lyrics to Happy Valentines Day since like their is a part that i dont really understand what he saids...
such fresh images! i wish i was as innovative with creating impressions with the sense palette.
whoa whoa whoa... this is like one of the best live songs i've ever heard! Insanely catchy drum beat! i can't grasp a real concept on the lyrics except there's alot about the body and blood and stuff...
I love this song, but I love the old version of "New Song" rather than "New New Song". This song is so awesome it deserves a proper name! I think I can finally hear the lyrics more properly in the studio version of "New New Song". The beginning is this:
You wrap me in your spider soul And gave me hope for the worst disease
And in the chorus..:
Mark a groove in your heart (instead of Mocking a groovy old heart)
I think it's "You wrap me in your spider silk And gave me hope that was disease"
I'm pretty sure that it's silk because I can hear the "K" sound, but I'm not as sure on the second part.
Dave Monks said this about the song: "The song is one of the only songs I wrote about an actual person and actually feeling shitty. Most of my lyrics come from narratives that I think up so I treated this one with a whimsical perspective. As for that lyric in particular, I was thinking about the book [Roald Dahl's] The BFG and how the giant kept lots dreams in bottles on his shelf. Pretty awesome. But I'm not as morbid as my lyrics might make me out to be."
