Jump out of your living grave
Fuck those neon lights
That’s just how I behave
Riding my bike
There are so many monsters
Traps they set so well
Tear your flesh from bone
And they’ll drag you straight to hell
Baby the gravys run out
Fuck those neon lights
That’s just how I behave
Riding my bike
There are so many monsters
Traps they set so well
Tear your flesh from bone
And they’ll drag you straight to hell
Baby the gravys run out

you could look at this as damnation against a personal trend or habitual activity, and i probably do. "jump out of your living grave, fuck those neon lights. that's just how i behave riding my bike."? you've got to change something sometime or you'll be dead. change your life. clean your room.
i saw this band perform i think 6 or 7 times in san antonio, texas between probably 2002 to 2010 and one of those times the drummer said he wrote the song about the bass player because his job sucks. hes a bike messenger in new york and people in cars will hit him. this band is so entertaining to see live, especially the drummer. hes always telling jokes and stories/genuinely engaging the crowd between songs.
