So this song has got to be about him trying not to fall in love with this girl but in the end he does anyway..
In the first verse I think it's talking about him getting hit by cupids arrow and that he needs to pull it out before it sticks and he falls in love. But it's to short for him to grip it and take it out himself
In the chorus he says why would you use that one? That he never uses it cause it's never on, maybe cayse its never been the right girl. He asks if she can please pull it out because he doesn't want to be in love. When she refused he gives in and loves her until his final breath.
He says he can't believe she made it through to him, and that he is fucked cause he fel for her after all
The last verse is my very favorite cause he realizes that he finally met his love and he isn't lonely any more.
Thats just my opinion on the song.. I might be way off but I really love this song good job frank turner!!

I got this song off of a Itunes free download, and I haven't had a clue what they were saying for the last few months, but this all really makes sense. This song is really crazy and fun. I just think it's about a guy who is really dark, and guarded, and then he finds his match in a girl much like himself. I think that he knows that love hurts, and he tries to get her to pull out of the relationship, but she won't, and then he realizes that he loves her a lot, and that it's okay. Just a little something.

I don't actually think Frank is the "black heart king". That might be a friend of his, that the girl he was with cheated on him with.
Explains the feeling like he's being stabbed in the back, by both the girl and his friend.
