Mr Softy's Balloon Race Lyrics

Walking through the wind
Another one would appear
Where do we go from here,
where do we go?

If the last one isn't there
And it's all gone
But if the last one wasn't there
It'd all be wrong

Sometimes you turn around
Sometimes you're lost but not found
Where do we buy the day,
when we go?

If the last one isn't there
And it's all gone
But if the last one wasn't there
It'd all be wrong

Weirdguy, please stop talking. By the looks of your comment, you're saying the song is crap because it's about a race.

You're wrong anyway. The bassline and the mention of balloons is a nod to the NES game Balloon Fight. Lyrics wise it could be about anything, but the song itself is a simple nod to 1980s video games... and maybe ice cream. Good tune.

I think the song is rather catchy. It's a good song to listen to when you're in a happy mood, and the drum machine is a rather nice touch.

My Opinion

This might be the WORST Gorillaz song ever. About a race? What? I think Mr. Softy was in Banjo Tooie on the N64, but I'm not sure.
