Blue Carousel Lyrics

how would I know what clue was there?
how could I know your soul made bare?
how could I tell when we would fall through the night and day revealed our faith?
blue carousel you've put a spell on me
blue carousel when will you let me be?
you'll never know nor be aware
you'll never see nor breathe this air
you'll never lie again by me through the night or stay to seal our fate
blue carousel you've put a spell on me
blue carousel when will you let me be?
blue carousel you've put a spell on me
blue carousel when will you let me be?

I think the song is about a love interest who makes her feel so low and "blue" inside. Makes her emotions feel like they are spinning out of control like a carousel.
She is so into this person. Under their "spell." But clues were there that the person may have not felt as much as she did. She is tortured. "When will you let me be?" When will this feeling be over for her. How could she have known she'd fall into him so deeply, " through the night and day," revealing their faith. Hers in him. His not in her. He will never know nor breathe the same air as her because he is away from her. No longer interested. Aloof. He'll never lie again by her because he is gone. Left. He cannot seal their fate the way she wants it to be because he wants no part of her any longer. The cello speaks the words. I am sure I am completely off.

I think she says 'reveal our fate' and not 'faith.' With that, I think it would it would mean, how could she have known through night and day that this would be her fate. Also, related to her not noticing the 'signs' or 'clues' that were there because she was under his 'spell.' Whatever this song's interpretation is, it's lovely.
