I think it's a very cute song :)
It's about a girl who pretends to be happy. Pretends that everythings okay. But she cries in the night. She doesn't know how to hold on. She's alone. She just wants someone to love her.... Now she's all grown up. She's a star. Although she's living the "glam" life, she's not truly happy. She hasn't found her true love yet. And it hurts.
