when you recognize the vulnerability in your handwriting
visible to all on a broadway autoroll
lamp post, dead drum, phone home, why,
with broken lasso the P's hid,
the H is humped so undefined
he Y so noncommittal then you will know
that you have still the fat face fresh fate
sixth grader fitted pro model red's cap size six and seven eighths
you will know that you are still the kid sitting quietly
(my face was just a smear on the page)
on the creased vinyl green seat bus
i'm the same straight faced fat kid (five hundred, five hundered) fingernails later
i'm the same straight faced fat kid (five hundred, five hundered) fingernails later
fat faced critic in the rear view mirror
cutthroat ebert in the rearview
giving you the evil eye, giving you the evil eye
i'm the same straight faced fat kid 500 fingernails later
visible to all on a broadway autoroll
lamp post, dead drum, phone home, why,
with broken lasso the P's hid,
the H is humped so undefined
he Y so noncommittal then you will know
that you have still the fat face fresh fate
sixth grader fitted pro model red's cap size six and seven eighths
you will know that you are still the kid sitting quietly

i think its cutthroat ebert in the rearview. cause it makes sense in relation to fat faced critic.
good tune
Who is cutthroat ebert? I googled it and got this page -_-
It's referring to legendary film critic Roger Ebert.
It's obviously about someone who's into graffiti and tagging. I think it's sort of a slam on him, how they're trying to act like something they're not. It's funny, I have a friend who I think the exact same thing about. He just started writing graffiti this year and I'm really annoyed with him. I appreciate the art, but only when it's done well. I know so many kids that are part of this dumb scene and they're making crews and all they do is write their dumb old tags on buses and in bathrooms. And they try to act all hard. It's the worst.
i agree with quitecomely deff ebert
i love the he says whhhhyyyy in the first few lines sooo good! omg!
i think it's "you are still the fat faced, fresh fade" which would be talking about a haircut, as well as the ebert comment made above
yoni used to tag, the "h" and "y" make sense as letters to criticize as 2/3rds of "why," but i don't know where that "p" would come from/what it would spell.
It's probably just about someone who to writes PHY. The similar letters to WHY are just a coincidence, nothing more.
In case anyone else was curious like me,
6 months for your body to replace your whole fingernail So 2 fingernails per year per finger So 20 fingernails per year
500/20 = 25
500 fingernails = 25 years
