Schoolbooks Lyrics
There's a sharp frost at night
Should I take this outside
Oh, but I won't get caught
Break the frost on the door
Schooboks float
On a river side
Like leaves they choose
To curl up and die
Fields from a faded dream
Figures that won't stay still
Ride across frozen streams
Stifle their whispering
Schoolbooks float
On a river side
Like leaves they choose
To curl up and die
Schoobooks float
On a river side
Like leaves they choose
To curl up and die
Schoolbooks float
On a river side
Like leaves they choose
To curl up and die
Should I take this outside
Oh, but I won't get caught
Break the frost on the door
On a river side
Like leaves they choose
To curl up and die
Figures that won't stay still
Ride across frozen streams
Stifle their whispering
On a river side
Like leaves they choose
To curl up and die
On a river side
Like leaves they choose
To curl up and die
On a river side
Like leaves they choose
To curl up and die

This song is so frickin' ethereal. I love it.
Not only are the lyrics beautiful, but the melody is enthralling. I love the way it builds up, stops, and picks up again near the end.
Come to think of it, the entire album is a puree of goodness.
possibly one of my favourite songs from one of my favourite albums of last year ... from definitely my favourite new-comers of last year. absolutely love it.
