Before i heard their music i was just listening some people telling that they were a good band, but other people whenI talked about Tokio Hotel just started dissing them and saying how "emo" and "gay" they where. Then Someday, I sat and decided to listen to theyr english album..to givem them a chance and ...I liked it..! It's just good pure rock..and pop-rock music. Before label a ban or start saying shit abou them..just listen to it....see the talent in it...if you still don't like..just fuck off...go to your life...listen to your bands an leave other bands alone!

First off, no one in TH is emo. Their music is not emo either.
Now then. I don't exactly know what they have meant by this song but on September 11, 2007 one of my swim team coaches, Marissa Boyan, died of a brain tumor. I had just recently been introduced to TH and this song expressed what I was feeling. "Running through the monsoon, to the end of time, where the rain won't hurt." The monsoon to me equals life and how it is hard through your whole life to the end of your time. The rain (aka life) won't hurt when we die. "Fighting the storm into the blue and when I lose myself i think of you" Once again the storm is life and "into the blue" is basically saying into the unknown. We don't know exactly what will happen in the future. "And when I lose myself I think of you" is what really got to me, because Coach Marissa was so full of life, and no matter what she was faced with, she always had a smile on her face. She fought hard against her brain tumor and she never gave up on her dreams (she was diagnosed when she was in college). RIP Coach Marissa, we all miss you.

To me, this song is describing unconditional love. It's like, I'll run through all the bad things to get to you, and when I get to you nothing else can hurt me.
I've heard of Tokio Hotel before But I never really listened to any of their songs ...Until I discovered Monsoon on Guitar Hero: World Tour. My cousin and I kept on playing it over and over again (:

TH may be insanely poppy, but they were definitely here long before this whole "emo" thing. I kind of love them 3246974615x more now. Bill hitting puberty = more amazing vocals. Haha. New TH is amazing. Especially this.

Which, by the way, is long for "emo"! So yes, I would say TH are "emo" in the sense that they are very passionate. But I think it's rude to imply that they are depressingly suicidal based on your judgement of the way Bill looks. And, like someone mentioned already, why would you haters even waste your time searching the lyrics of a band you don't like? lol...

Love Love Love Love Love TH and I am thirty one years old and happily married with two kids. My husband likes their music, my 8 year old daughter loves them and my 21 month old son has learned his first song Scream!!! He is so cute singing it. So people who say that they are a tweeny band or that they are emo are just stupid and ignorant. Get a life people, these guys are the greastes thing to come from over seas since the Beatles!

This was the first Tokio Hotel song I ever heard and when I saw the video I really thought Bill was a girl, and not just that but I had a crush on this girl... That crush lasted a week cuz I found out it was a guy. Still, Tokio Hotel has great songs and Bill's voice is awesome.
