this song to me is great. it's very hopeful. just keep on living. know that life's not so bad. the sun will rise again, a new day will begin.
I think that the lyrics might be incorrect. I think that the seventh line down should be "...and who knows, maybe we'll win, the whole sha-bang." Anyway, I wonder what the significance "Rose" has in Ryan's life. The name pops up in several songs and a rose in unofficially Ryan Adams and the Cardinals' symbol. Thoughts?
this is a great opening song on easy tiger.. i think that its about forgeting the bad stuff in life.. and just getting through it and focusing on the positives.. it takes on the cliche "tomorrows a new day" -- "the sun will come up again, tomorrow" also on blue skys comment; i think the rose is just a symbol of significance not actually a person.. he uses it as a female figure in his songs-- alot of his songs are about dispair and misfortune with relationships and woman, i dont know if all of it actually has happened to him or if he sees it in his mind, thats why i feel it is a representation of female significance and thats why it is reoccuring in the lyrics as well as used in the cardinals symbol
