Moving Pictures Lyrics

You'll sleep tonight
Dream dreams where i would die
its alright
its alright
They did not come true
Although they will do, in time
It's alright, its alright

fakes, liars, and stars of moving pictures
whats the difference?
Like all the parts that im not into
but i see in you

Not real brown eyes look into mine
But i was so shy
It's alright
You'l sleep tonight
dream dreams where i would die
its alright, its alright

fakes, liars, and stars of moving pictures
whats the difference?
Like all the parts that im not into
but i see in you

Guarded thoughts
firing off
Parting shots
Missing lots
(x2)

fakes, liars, and stars of moving pictures
whats the difference?
Like all the parts that im not into
but i see in you

amazing song, and i love cory kennedy and think that she's perfect for the video, i guess on the most literal level it's just about wanting someone who'se into glamour and drama (as kennedy assuredly is) and all that though you yourself aren't

Yeah. definatley best single of 2007...no doubt, amazing song... I guess your right, its just about liking someone whos not intrested in the same values as you are, who doesn't find them as important as you do, maybe 'Guarded thoughts firing off Parting shots Missing lots'.... is the couple having a fight and splitting??maybe..anyone else think this?

love it love it love it. and i agree with cj-pars about it being about the couple arguing, it definetely sounds like it : guarding thoughts : them getting annoyed firing off : them confronting each other parting shots : finsihing the relationship missing lots : obviously, missing each other
