'Write down every little thing that makes you love me' - talk about strong lyrics. So, to me it seems like they're splitting up or going their separate ways, but the guy still wants to stay together. So he makes the girl write down every little thing that makes her love him so she remembers why they're together in the first place.
The acoustic version of this song on the new album Luna is absolutely amazing. =]

Very strong lyrics, reminds me of my past relationship.
It's obvious they are splitting up, the guy wants to stay together but they are going different ways, and he wants to know what made her love him. To keep it as a reminder what he did right.
