I Get Around Lyrics
9 am in your bedroom
The radio alarm clock is set for soon
I know your friends and you know mine too
You don’t tell on me, I won’t tell on you
I get around
Seconds to your elevator from the station
How can I resist that kinda invitation?
Second floor and I’m in trouble
Gotta get me back down to street level
I get around
Here I come when I better go
I say yes when I ought to say no
Here I come when I better go
I say yes when I ought to say no
Quietly slide away off the mattress
Find my clothing on the bed post
So I tip toe out of this mess
As I slip back into last nights dress
I get around
Put a little lipstick back on my face
Blow a little kiss to you from the doorway
Walk the hall right past the stair case
Take the elevator back down out of this place
I get around
Here I come when I better go
I say yes when I ought to say no
Here I come when I better go
I say yes when I ought to say no
I say yes when I ought to say no
I say yes when I ought to say no
I say yes
I say yes
I say yes
I say yes
I say yes
Say yes
Say ya

i looooove this song
Sounds like two people having an affair and they both know it's wrong but they don't want to stop.
I think it's pretty much a convenience relationship. and a lesbian one at that, if you've seen the video, even though Martina (lead singer) isn't gay. She can't help dropping in to this other girl's house because it's so easy to get to ("seconds from you elevator from the station, how can i resist that kind of invitation") even though she kinda regrets it afta and knows that she shouldnt be doing it "I say yes, wen i ought to say no"). Finally, the casual relationship is a secret. They know each other's friends but feel they must keep their relationship private ("I know your friends and ou know mine too, you don't tell on me I won't tel on u").
it's just about a girl that sleeps around...?! xxx
i think it's about martina cheating on her then boyfriend with dan. either way this song is awesome.
oh, it's seventh floor not second, as well.
as according to their myspace, this and competition depict ' a world of guilt-free promiscuity and sexual predators on the prowl'
i think it's less about 'sleeping around' or cheating, and more about just being bad
casual.
Affair. Obviously.
secret friends with benefits "I know your friends and you know mine too, you don't tell on me I won't tell on you"
