Nobody's Perfect Lyrics

The wait is over, baby
You're free to go
Don't worry bout me darlin
I'm glad to see you go

I can't be what's wrong with you
You can't hold me lie a bone no more
It's my fault, I stayed so long

I can't block out the bad times
With the few good ones we had
I know and still adore you
But I know I won't for long

I can't be what's wrong with you
You can't hold me lie a bone no more
It's my fault, I stayed so long

I can't be what's wrong with you
You can't hold me lie a bone no more
It's my fault, I stayed so long with you

Time stumbles on
Back and forth
Moving on
Win the race to the grave
I'm ahead
But you're slowly catching up

I really like this song. I love how before he even starts singing the music builds up and then just sinks. That's the only way I can describe it. I think it's pretty obvious what the song is about: 2 people breaking up, he's not sad about it though, he stayed to long in the relationship as it is, and she can't blame him for everything that's wrong, she has to take some responsibility too. The good times can't save them from all their problems.

Oh and I could be wrong, but " you can't hold me lie a bone" I think it's liable...at least it makes more sense that way.
