One of my favorite UHP songs. It's pretty apparent that the song is about Tarot and divination. Tarot can be almost addicting in that there are very enigmatic meanings behind every card in a reading. It almost sounds as if she is trying to get away from relying on divination, but can't help it despite warnings (If you fate your world unwritten pages turn / To an ending that you did not write)
Melissa Kaplan has -the most- beautiful voice. When she starts building up in this song with "And as she lays your tarot down..." I get goosebumps every time.
Great song. Melissa Kaplan has to be one of the best musicians I've ever come across. Agreed with Guerrilla_Radio on the meaning
