I believe that the song is a reference to those are meant and bound to worldy things and is an allusion directly of those people.
"This world's gonna make you a part of it", is in reference to that when you die eventually you become dust and a part of the soil.
"This world's gonna leave you out", this is the main point. He's in reference to what is truly human. The world he's referring to is the Ethereal, and that the mind of the person/people are wasted. They'll die, and the only existence left is the dirt.
Never let your body feel, how your mind could leave it"- reinforcing the last statement. The actions carried out are negligence of the soul.
4th stanza is a parody of meeting a person and contemplating throwing them out the window, seeing as to the narrarator believes that their existence is being wasted. To lock them up, or throw them out the window. "if you were meant for the wealth of applause...etc." It's believed that, that meaning is a waste of life, and would disregard bodies of such by throwing them out the window.
