omigosh no one has put a comment on this song yet?? well ill be the first :) this song is awesome and the meaning is self explanatory.... (ill be there for you no matter what and you can always turn to me) i love it it bout makes me cry everytime i hear it

I love this song. I dedicate it to my best friend, she's been through a lot and I just want her to know, no matter what happens i'll be there for her. She's my rock, she's always been there for me. And I want her to know that I'll be there like she was for me. I love her to death.

this song means different things for me. i can also relate it to my best friend, we have been through everything together and i would do anything for her. but the main thing is with my mother. This song I would give to her because she cannot decide if she should leave her husband or not, he treats her wrong and is controlling and she is not happy. She is having such a hard time and this song fits it perfect.

musicmaze, that is so touching. seriously.

This song has 2 different meanings for me. One being, as a few people have also said, for my best friend. She and I have gone through a lot together, especially recently, and i played this for her to show her that no matter what i will be beside her, even though we may not always agree on what the other one does.

and my 2nd meaning is about a guy that i have been really good friends with for the last 2 years. we tried dating, but it didn't work because we go to school 9 hours away from each other, but nothing as changed between us. when we are together, anyone can see our spark is still there. me & him would honestly do anything for each other. neither time or distance has been able to take that away from us...and hopefully one day we will be able to give our relationship a true chance.

i think not much has been said because she is just covering this song. It is sung, and much better, by The Pretenders. :-)
