This is probably my favorite Despised Icon song. From what I can tell, most of it is a metaphor about drinking in order to deal with depression:

Your presence, I took for granted (alcohol was there so he used it) I deceived your confidence (kinda self explanatory)
I'll kill again (open more bottles and drink)to lighten apathy towards me (to deal with emotional problems)
The amazing brightness (I'm assuming the alcohol's ability to intoxicate) that makes you so precious and exceptional tears me apart (drinking all the time is ruining him)
