Keep a light on those you love
They will be there when you die
Baby, there's no need to fear
Baby, there's no need to cry
Every little piece in your life will add up to one
Every little piece in your life - will it mean something to someone?
You fused my broken bones
Back together, then
Lift the weight of the world
From my shoulders again
Every little piece in your life will add up to one
Every little piece in your life - will it mean something to someone?
Every little piece in your life will add up to one
Every little piece of your life will mean something to someone
You touch my face God whispers in my ear
There are tears in my eyes
Love replaces fear
You touch my face God whispers in my ear
There are tears in my eyes
Love replaces fear
Fear
Every little piece in your life will add up to one
Every little piece in your life will mean something to someone
Every little piece in your life will add up to one
Every little piece of your life will mean something to someone
They will be there when you die
Baby, there's no need to fear
Baby, there's no need to cry
Every little piece in your life will add up to one
Every little piece in your life - will it mean something to someone?
You fused my broken bones
Back together, then
Lift the weight of the world
From my shoulders again
Every little piece in your life will add up to one
Every little piece in your life - will it mean something to someone?
Every little piece in your life will add up to one
Every little piece of your life will mean something to someone
You touch my face God whispers in my ear
There are tears in my eyes
Love replaces fear
You touch my face God whispers in my ear
There are tears in my eyes
Love replaces fear
Fear
Every little piece in your life will add up to one
Every little piece in your life will mean something to someone
Every little piece in your life will add up to one
Every little piece of your life will mean something to someone

The above lyrics are incorrect.
I believe this song is about a dream or some sort of a connection with someone who has passed away.
"God whispers in my ear, There are tears in my eyes"
Does anyone know if this means God is whispering to him, (ie, 'God whispers in my ear "there are tears in my eyes"' ) or if they are seperate sentances (there are tears in my eyes, love replaces fear)
I think it's really effective if he means God has tears in his eyes over him and the person.
xo
wow...I had never thought of it that way. Thanks for your comment, it really made me appreciate this song ever more than I did before :)
"You touch my face, God whispers in my ear, There are tears in my eyes, Love replaces fear"
beautiful
I know, sorry, I figured that out after a while. mychaosdream has the right part down, though, and it makes so much more sense that way. Here's correct lyrics:
Keep a light on those you love They will be there when you die Baby there’s no need to fear Baby there’s no need to cry
Every little piece in your life Will add up to one Every little piece in your life Will it mean something to someone?
You fused my broken bones Back together again Lift the weight of the world From my shoulders again
Every little piece in your life Will add up to one Every little piece in your life Will it mean something to someone? Every little piece of your life Will add up to one Every little piece of your life Will mean something to someone
You touch my face God whispers in my ears There are tears in my eyes Love replaces
You touch my face God whispers in my ear There are tears in my eyes Love replaces fear
Every little piece in your life Will add up to one Every little piece of your life Will mean something to someone Every little piece in your life Will add up to one Every little piece of your life Will mean something to someone
it's about everyone IS useful btw: great album, one of the bands worth listening to
i think its about when someone who we love dies...that person will be with us somewhere somehow, in our hearts :)
Maybe he sings about his own death and a person who loves him is sitting next to him. She/He makes his death as pleasant as possible ("You fused my broken bones/ Back together again/ Lift the weight of the world/ From my shoulders again" means that she/he soothes his pain. "You touch my face" She/He strokes him.). And in the end he dies with a feeling of true love instead of fear. So that is the most beautiful death i can imaging (that´s my opinion anyway) and it shows, how important true friends and love are.
maybe it could be about a thankyou to the ones who helped him through life [and yes hes dieing] "god whispers in my ears maybe he knows that its his time there for hes saying i will be with you soon "keep a light on those you love they will be there when you die" i think its like he will watch over them and he knows that they will bewith him later in heaven or if your good to people they will be with you [meaning love you or close to you] when you die i think DerWer is on the right paith of the meaning
Live life with no regrets. The end of your life is just a part of it. So, don't fear, just live and love; love should give you everything you need. Except love, it's easy if you try, don't reject it. The most important persons from your life should be near you, especially if you love them, keep them close.
I think that this is the message of this amazing song.
@Saomy
*accept love.
Except love means something completely different.
Weird how they go from this to "If there really was a god here..."
