Smiling Swine Lyrics

Awoke alone, put on my coat, ran for the door
Down the stairs, and made it to the second floor
Stopped by the squeaky wheel, a smiling swine
Stunned by the sight and fearing whats behind
"Hey there" he pleasently began
"Good day" he telescoped his hand
"Is there a service I can possibly propose?"
"Ms leading seems to me to be a proper butterfly"
"Then I suggest you pack your bags and learn to drive!"
Tucked in my shirt, and finally made my way outside
He broke the scene, a machiavelian dandelion
Blissfully plucked from the bloom of another

But all the while
She was still fresh in my mind
And though this might be premature
But ambition strikes just when the mood is right
The mood is right

The first Act I was about Ms. Terri, a whore, and her son, the dear hunter. In the beginning of Act II Ms. Terri is raped and murdered and the dear hunter leaves him home and finds Ms. Leading. He's infatuated with her (love or lust, not sure) because she reminds him of his mother ("Mimicking the matriarch").

In this song he leaves the Dime and still has Ms. Leading. The smiling swine is the name that the dear hunter gives to the pimp/priest (one character who does both for a living).

Look at that, a double meaning: if a Machiavellian deceiver, it's Ms. Leading. If by the meaning of manipulation, it's the pimp.

Haha I love this song. I love how they count through the chorus. Good Job PunkRocks64. Here he is again thinking about Ms. Leading. She really gave him something to remember. This whole album seems to be about this lady selling herself. He just happens to fall for her and can't get her off his mind...

It's so catchy and fun! I think that Pioneer is on to something. The character The dear hunter is obsessed with Ms. Leading, but maybe she can't give up her lifestyle for him?

I think this is the Dear Hunter realizing ms. leading might actually be a whore. The smiling swine is, in fact, the pimp/priest. Regardless, he still can't stop thinking about her

Machiavellian means deceiving/manipulating A dandelion is a weed.

So a Machiavellian dandelion is a deceiving weed. Pretty straight-forward from there.
