They say its all for nothing
creation no more than a place of mocking woe
a waking wait in slumberland
yeah, time is a lion
no one can rely on it
they asking
where's my promised glory, where's my fate?
they don't know
they're closer to the truth than God - so sentimental
They're the seekers sick and pleading for the vision to see Eternity
a cloud to make a home
some alchemy of life's debris
They are seekers who will live and die of wishing to see Eternity
leave all your bets, its such a wonderful law
We stand in heaven's doorway
in hell's parade at every moment
and so instead of mourning
why not let's celebrate
every day out of life
In place of real emotion
kill off that little love your heart can find
for those not of your kind
be that your foolish maker's disaster plan?

They're the wonders not perceiving they're a wake on the sea

Clean as the stars are old
ever the burning brightly free
We are wonders ever feeding what the minute could be

Trade imitations for the wonderful law
Rare as the dust of worlds
on one finger is your bone and memory
