A Letter From God to Man Lyrics
slight corrections: "All the good I tried to do was corrupted when ORGNIZED religion got into full swing"
"I wanna set things straight with homosexuals, RiGHT NOW: I DON'T hate ya!"
SOME OF THE BEST LINES! EVER!
"See, I wasn't the creator/I was more the curator of nature"
"Last time I sent down a message, you nailed it to the cross"
"See all the elements were already here, long before I began I just kind of put it all together I didn’t really think out a long-term plan. I made the sun an appropriate distance and laid the stars across the sky So you could navigate the globe or simply watch the sun rise I covered the earth with plants and fruits, Some for sustenance and some for beauty I made the sun shine and the clouds rain so their maintenance wasn’t your duty I tried to give each creature its own attributes without making them enveloped I gave you all you all your own space to grow and in your own way space to develop"
God is in us all. Religion is dogmatic. Just love and try for god. He/She/You/Me/We'd all appreciate it. Just appreciate what we have and give back. Care for our mother who cares for us.
See the video on YouTube.com and don't stop watching til the very end
For the weak to control the strong' i like that subtle mix up there & of course, bravo for sampling a Radiohead song too :P
"Religion became a tool, for the weak to control the strong; With all these new morals and ethics, survival of the fittest was gone. No longer could the biggest man simply take whatever he needed, cos damnation was the price if certain rules were not heeded"
The whole truth about religion. Religion was the end of true Darwinism. Although we wouldn't be nearly as intelligent as we are now if religion wasn't created for use in this way, it's about time everyone still believing in religion moved on. I love the idea that religions were created by people that knew it wasn't true themselves. It's a shame the knowledge wasn't passed on so that the pope or someone could just announce it one day.
really puts things in perspective!
So amanzing. Great music with it too! I always think during this song "what would my letter from God" contain. If I where to get a personal message from the almighty what would I get told I was doing wrong, and what was I doing right? It's easy to judge Mankind as a whole but I'm part of that mess and how have I tried to help out?
Thats what I take anyway. Its not just pointing out that we have kinda dropped the ball as a caring socioty but that we have no right to complain as individual as individuals make up socioty, and that God/mother nature are really the ones with the right to complain cuz we took what thy had and didn't do brill.
Btw its Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip
This song I think holds a lot of truth to do with the world with dogmatic religions nd the fact many people use religion to fit their views. Liked the comment about homosexuals.
their lyrics are always fantastic, and this is no exception.
nods in agreement
Is that serious!? Remixing Radiohead... Planet Telex is it?
this song has obvious meaning. it is what the writer believes God would say to man if He were to send a letter to them. thus, the lyrics :]. great song, loving the originality!
