I have to say... I love a lot of Jojo's music. It's very catchy. But I have lost a lot of respect for her after this song. It of course, samples "Africa" by Toto and that is a classic, awesome song. One of my all-time favorites. She butchered it and it sends chills down my spine whenever I hear it. I cannot believe she ruined such a classic song.

So i really think that song meanings really come out from how ur feeling so one person can take one song one way and then another may take it totally different. Thats the beauty of music.

Anyway>> This song is about a girl who is seeing this guy but there not official and all she wants is for this guy to be hers...She loves when there together, and never wants to leave him

i think she did the song beautifully. "Africa" is a beautiful song about something different, but she took the music and replaced the lyrics very nicely. the music has been sampled numerous times in R&B because it's so unique but i think Jo's song is one of the best if not the best...

i disagree with the first comment. I quite like this song. she didn't kill it, the tune and everything flows well together.

Also, couldn't help but notice that some lyrics are wrong. This is what I hear should be the lyrics:

I actually also disagree that she's ruined it. I really love her version, yes it's a different style to the origional, but it's very catchy and just as good.
