Cheers Lyrics

Plastic ornament, they adorn your neck, like they should
And that drink we had on a summer's day, felt so, it felt so good

So cheers to the wreckage that we make
As of late, my smile is wearing out
We sing cheers to the helpless mess we gave
That we used to allude our eyes from this

But they're staring back at you

Does anyone feel unusual?
Like something is not right at all here
Lately, I'm just tired of waking up
To the sunlight, it hurts my eyes
Cause I'm far, far away from those tears
And I'm far, far away from those tears

Precious ornaments hang around your neck, deface you, my dear
And the drink we had on a burning day, felt so, felt so good

So cheers to the wreckage that we make
As of late, my smile is wearing out
We sing cheers to the helpless mess we gave
That we used to allude our eyes from this

"As of late, my smile is..."

I still don't think it says worrying. It won't let me edit the song for some reason.

It's also, "Does anyone feel unusual"

God, I'm an ass.

I think it's "wearing out" not "worrying". And it seems more likely to be something like "drink we had" rather than "trinquete", whatever that is.
