I don't really understand this song. Obviously it's about him & the relationship he has with a girl. It's ending, but I can't figure out why. seems like it could be an abusive relationship, 'and my temper sways near enough to be you'... but not really sure

Yeah this one confuses me, i have trouble seeing anything in this song as "soothing, like rain" without the drama that is clearly inevitable. I can only think that maybe thats the point? The confusion that he feels towards an individual or thing
