Pretty In A Panic Lyrics
Beat and broken
Fought him, fought him on my own
Stop and wait
Stop and wait
I lie alone
Wrote you, over
The same line, over
I will not fight
The same complaint
Heart skip around my bones
Drop me, broken
Fought him, then asked her whats my name
Stop and wait
Stop and wait
I ran away
Wrote you, over
The same line, over
I will not fight
The same complaint
Stop, skip around my bones
Fought him, fought him on my own
Stop and wait
Stop and wait
I lie alone
The same line, over
I will not fight
The same complaint
Heart skip around my bones
Fought him, then asked her whats my name
Stop and wait
Stop and wait
I ran away
The same line, over
I will not fight
The same complaint
Stop, skip around my bones

a couple of these are iffy if anyone has any corrections let me know. fantastic song though.
I think it's "beaten, broken" but that's a bit of a nitpick as it means the same thing anyway. Also I always thought it was "Fought him, the master wants my name", but "asked her what's" also seems to fit on relistening so I dunno. And the last bit of the second verse is "Sing, and play / Hop and skip around my bones", although in verse four it's hop and skip around something else I can't really make out. There's an "f" sound in there somewhere and that's about all I can decipher. Fur?
And here's what I can make out of the spoken-wordy-poetry bit at the end: "A sunflower jar full of idle dreams he had The land of tears was so mysterious to her she said His lonely head inhabits all the love he has [???] she collects the sound of butterflies
Melting snow beside a river only he will know That whisper of cold air through the face of [???] Through mythical measures they come together and understand That the place for them is kicking leaves in the [???]
Now the seashell artist creates another masterpiece Reflecting jealous danger love can't see A trinket box which holds the key To the seashell artist, we thank thee."
These are the lyrics for the end of Pretty in a Panic, my dad knows one of the guys from My Latest Novel & they got Laura (the girl who's speaking at the end) to confirm these are correct! Enjoy!
A sunflower jar full of idle dreams he had The land of tears is so mysterious to her she said His lonely head inhabits all the love he has whilst the charming she collects the sound of butterflies
Melting snow beside a river only he will know That whisper of cold air through the face and hair is hers Through mythical measures they come together and understand That the place for them is kicking leaves in the cobbled lanes
Now the sea shell artist makes another masterpiece Reflecting jealous danger that love can't see A trinket box which holds the key To the sea shell artist, we thank thee
