Inner City Violence Lyrics

Shut down, boom town, lowdown downtown
Streets go prepare for war
When the law come over, man they run for cover
Opportunity shut the door
When the guns are blazing in the streets of Mogadishu
Baghdad back to Bahru
And I wear my opinion on a dusted white suit
Every time I hear the firearms shoot

No control, street curfew now in play
Violence sustained
Civil liberty's now destroyed
Cursed intimidation brought on by force
Re-generated crime wave
Setting things off course
These days are insane, atrocity rised
Opressing systems through the fields now divide
Masses of mankind spewed in God's speech
Can you see in all of this, all the endless deceit?

Shut down, boom town, lowdown downtown
Streets go prepare for war
When the law come over, man they run for cover
Opportunity shut the door
When the guns are blazing in the streets of Mogadishu
Baghdad back to Bahru
And I wear my opinion on a dusted white suit
Every time I hear the firearms shoot

Street signs in __ taught me about our past
Hi-tech repro systems, anihilates so fast
Fury and anger tried to seminate
This eradicative warfare escalates
____
Defences started, no co-opabilitiy
High calculated, deadlier restrains
Raining down upon helpless human beings

Inner city violence
Inner city - repeated

/// this is as good as I could get it, if you know the rest of the lyrics, please tell me.

Cover art for Inner City Violence lyrics by Tim Armstrong

Fantastic song. The verses are kind of hypnotizing and the lyrics are great, at least not every song on the LP is about girls;) I know some folx are going to curse Tim for the scratching and the hip hop like chorus, but I love this song.
