This song is about a person who did not recieve The Fire. This person either waited until it was too late, or denied the truth, and now they cannot find peace.

In the booklet it says Alex does guitar and vocals, whereas Jason plays bass and lead vocals.
I think you guys have it covered on the meaning, I thought it was about someone who didn't accept the fire (Jesus) and can never find peace, warmth, and rest and is in darkness.
