Hoy solo quiero silencio
No quiero nada cambiar
Quiero quedarme tranquila
Y saborear esta paz

Tengo un momento de calma
Siento el peso ceder
De esta vida enredada
La deshizo y el porque

Nada que venga de afuera
Me puede hacer mas feliz
Como sentir tu mirada
Tranquila sobre mi

Eres dulce compañía, y mi alma tiene sed
Me siento resucitada cuando tu me ves
Eres dulce compañía y mi alma tiene sed
Me siento resucitada cuando tu me ves

Quiero quedarme sentada
Ver tu silueta volver
Quiero enredarme en tus manos y sentir tu piel
No puedo explicarlo
Como es que pudiste entrar
Mi corazón cansado, no quería ya dar mas

Nada que venga de afuera
Me puede hacer mas feliz
Solo sentir tu mirada
Tranquila sobre mi

Me siento florecer

Eres dulce compañía, y mi alma tiene sed
Me siento resucitada cuando tu me ves
Eres dulce compañía y mi alma tiene sed
Me siento resucitada cuando tu me ves

Eres dulce compañía
Eres dulce compañía
Eres dulce compañía
Eres dulce compañía
Eres dulce compañía
Eres dulce compañía
Eres dulce compañía
Eres dulce compañía
Eres dulce compañía

i listen to her alot. I enjoy all her albums and i always think this song is the most romantic one of hers. i'll try my best, please correct me when i'm wrong (i'm only learning espanYol)

Today i want silence. i don't want anything to change. I want to stay like this and savor this peace. I'm having a moment of calm. I feel the weight of this complicated life falling off of me.

    it's because...

Nothing out there could make me happier. How by just feeling your presence, tranquility surrounds me.

You are my sweet companion. And my soul is thirsty. I feel completely revived when you see me.

I want to keep on sitting here. Just to see your silouette return. I want to wrap myself in your hands and feel your skin. I can't explain it. How is it that you could enter my weary heart, a heart that wouldn't give anymore.

Nothing out there could make me happier. How by just feeling your presence, tranquility surrounds me.

You are my sweet companion. And my soul is thirsty. I feel completely revived when you see me.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
