Liar Liar (Burn in Hell) Lyrics

(screaming)
Liar, liar, pants on fire
and the pills go down and get you higher baby
bottles burning, mother fucker
and the mother hates him like the daughter
lonely god and maker gripping tighter saying

you will burn in hell they say,
you will burn in hell!

Liar! Liar! Pants on fire
Liar! Liar! Stop yourself from catching fire fire
God and maker, liar! liar! pants on fire

Liar! Liar! house of fire
and the glass they smashed seemed to ignite
I bet your tummy hurts you, you mother fucker
mother never loved you,
father touched you with the hand of god
he's gripping tighter, saying

you will burn in hell they say,
you will burn in hell!

Liar! Liar! Pants on fire
Liar! Liar! Stop yourself from catching fire fire
God and maker, liar! liar! You fucking liar!

(screaming): You're gonna burn in hell (x2)

you will burn in hell they say,
you will burn in hell!

(screaming): You fucking liar!

Liar! Liar! Pants on fire
Liar! Liar! Stop yourself from catching fire fire
God and maker, liar! liar! You fucking liar! (x2)

You fucking liar! (liar! liar!)

Liar, liar, pants on fire!
Hanging from a telephone wire!

Cheisu- I disagree with you, being a Christian, and even if my faith is not what you believe in that doesn't make it right or wrong, and certainly not a lie. I am sorry that you personally have been persecuted by Christians, but I can assure you that not all Christians are like that, I myself being one. And I also can understand your pain because I am persecuted constantly because of my faith. to the point of being beaten up and having my stuff completely destroyed. People question my beliefs everyday, especially my opinions on evolution and the creation of the world. Also, I don't know where you live or anything, but normally when Christians and missionaries are going out and spreading the 'good news', they tend to begin with God's love rather than the 'turn or burn' thing....It just really bothered me and I had to say that.

Lyric correction: Stop your sofa catching fire

Now that i have informed you on this lyric correction i will go into great detail about this songs meaning. You see, one day Bert was strolling around his neighborhood Cracker Barrel. He found a nice yellow sofa (like the one seen in The Used's "The Bird and the Worm.") The couch salesman at Cracker Barrel told him that this couch was fire proof. But Bert knew he was lying, because he was Legendary. But he decided to buy it anyway because there were no furniture stores in Orem, Utah. He took the couch and brought it home. You see, Bert is not very careful. When ever he makes delectable Pilsburry Cinnimon Rolls with his pink apron, he often forgets to turn the oven off, this is a very big fire hazard. So, due to his passion for couches, he decided to fill it with water, to prevent it from catching fire. (This explains why the couch is filled with water in the bird and the worm.) Butt, Bert often holds strong grudges, he is very angry at the couch sales person for lying to him. So he decides to steal his plow. (Hence in the beggining of the song, you can hear him clearly whisper "Why did you take my plow?" and seconds later he screams "MY PLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" So this song is basically about lying salesmen, couches, fire, and pink aprons. I hope you agree! i love you!

My Interpretation

Hmm I dunno exactly what it means, but it seems like the narrator was talking about or a family member that betrayed the family, possibly burning the house down, explaining the sirens at the beginning as well as the baby bottles burining. It does not seem like the parents are antagonized, as the mother seems to hate the liar. Neither is God shown as a direct enemy, as the father seems to vindicate the liar "with the hand of God." There may be two points of veiw, though I do not see that clearly. The lyrics here seem to deviate from what is heard by me when I play it. This song is good, but horribly unclear in its meaning. Later it seems to call God a liar,(God and maker...) but at the same time its improbable that the father touched God with the "hand of God" and called him a liar

I think that this song is about how Christians are liars, and how they always tell people that they're going to hell, and that's a lie. I would know personally, I'm Wiccan and I am persecuted against by Christians and told that I'm going to Hell almost every day. I think that this is telling about the lies of Christians.

i think thats a good point seeing as how it says "You will burn in hell they say" yeah that could be it.
