Dang Me Lyrics
Well here I sittin' high
Gettin' ideas
There ain't nothin' but a fool
That lived like this
Out all night and runnin' wild
Woman sittin' home with a month-old child
Chorus:
Dang me
Dang me
They ought to take a rope and hang me
High from the highest tree
Woman would you wait for me
Just sittin' around drinking with the rest of the guys
Six rounds bought and I bought five
Spent the groceries and half the rent
It was like $14.27
Chorus
They say roses are red
Violents are purple
Sugar is sweet
And so is maple surple
I am seventh out seven sons
My pappy was a pistol
I'm a son of a gun
Chorus
Gettin' ideas
There ain't nothin' but a fool
That lived like this
Out all night and runnin' wild
Woman sittin' home with a month-old child
Dang me
They ought to take a rope and hang me
High from the highest tree
Woman would you wait for me
Six rounds bought and I bought five
Spent the groceries and half the rent
It was like $14.27
Violents are purple
Sugar is sweet
And so is maple surple
I am seventh out seven sons
My pappy was a pistol
I'm a son of a gun

He came back to the car very excited and johnny asked him something along the lines of "is it a good one?"... and he could tell by roger's reaction that he had written gold... and he had...
