Stop Me Lyrics
Stop me, oh, stop me
Stop me if you think that you've
Heard this one before
Stop me, oh, stop me
Stop me if you think that you've heard this one before
Nothing's changed
I still love you, oh, I still love you
...Only slightly, only slightly less than I used to, my love
I was delayed, I was way-laid
An emergency stop
I saw the last ten seconds of life
I crashed down on the crossbar
And the pain was enough to make
A shy, bald, buddhist reflect
And plan a mass murder
Who said lied I'd to her ?
Oh, who said I'd lied because I never ? I never !
Who said I'd lied because I never ?
I was detained, I was restrained
And broke my knee
And broke my spleen
(and then he really laid into me)
Friday night in Out-patients
Who said I'd lied to her ?
Oh, who said I'd lied ? - because I never, I never
Who said I'd lied to her?
Oh, so I drank one
It became four
And when I fell on the floor ...
...I drank more
Stop me, oh, stop me
Stop me if you think that you've
Heard this one before
Stop me, oh, I said stop me
Stop me if you think that you've heard this one before
Nothing's changed
I still love you, oh, I still love you
...Only slightly, only slightly less than I used to, my love
Set me free, why don't you babe?
Get out my life, why don't you babe?
'Cause you don't really love me, no
You just keep me hanging on
Set me free, why don't you babe?
Get out my life, why don't you babe?
'Cause you don't really love me, no
You just keep me hanging on.
Stop me if you think that you've
Heard this one before
Stop me, oh, stop me
Stop me if you think that you've heard this one before
I still love you, oh, I still love you

Sorry, but you're all morons if you didn't realize that Mark was a producer and DJ who never intended to make new music, but simply to revamp previously released records. He does a damn good job, too.
This is a Smiths song titled "Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before" and the end takes part of the Supremes' "You Keep Me Hangin' On." No Kim Wilde here.
Check out the video for the amazing "Oh My God" for a cameo from Daniel M.
I like this, I think...
"And the pain was enough to make A shy, bald, buddhist reflect And plan a mass murder " this is funny, really :) sad song tho think he is trying to find excuses for things he's done wrong. He can't break up with her. think it's going no where tho. if your relationship is this far, there's no going back.
it's a Smiths song
Hmm... that's cool. I had a feeling these lyrics were familiar. That's pretty much what Mark Ronson is, though. A really cool cover artist.
Ronson is an awful artsist with no originality. He's just murdered Coldplay, Kaiser Chiefs, Radiohead and The Smiths on his new album. He deserves to be shot for degrading the name of Morrissey.
:D. i went through i phase where all i listened to was this song, i like it so much.
Well, with me being a bass player and just typically a girl who appreciates music for the beats and such, I kind of didn't pay attention to the words. All I thought was, 'Daniel Merriweathers voice sounds really nice.' But the bass sounds cool.
I love the beat of this song (:
I love the energy and charisma in the song. And the video's not that bad. Daniel Merriweather is a talented singer. Its his voice that really made the song.
Anyway, the last part where he says "you just keep me hanging on" gave me the impression that he was just in the relationship because he felt like he had to be, but not because he had feelings for the girl.
