My Addiction Lyrics

My addiction
Makes me piss on floors
And go home with these scabby whores
I took too much LSD
Now I'm at ICU at Emory
My addiction

Cocaine and Coors comes out my pores
Pukin' in the kitchen down on all fours
My head's an earthquake, I sweat and shake
Ashes on the coke can ready to melt the cake
Spitting blood, picking sores, fuck cuttin' a line
Stick the straw in the bag and do it all at one time
Fuckin' chicken heads wearing house shoes and rollers
Tried to pawn a remote control as a Motorola
Got beeped by Boo-Boo, Poo-lip and Tuck
Pookie and Snoop Snoop and some other thug
Blacked out in the crackhouse and wet my pants
I almost died and dove out the ambulance
Stole my last Jack Daniels, kicked the cocker spaniel
But first I did a bump off my high school annual
Getting geeked, hit the toilet for a quick jack off
By the time I get a nut I rip my dick skin off
Punch a hole in the wall, got crabs on my balls
And I'm looking for a pebble in the carpet in the hall
Running from drug raids, my brain's an arcade
My family's afraid I got AIDS

My addiction
Makes me piss on floors
And go home with these scabby whores
I took too much LSD
Now I'm at ICU at Emory
My addiction yo, my addiction yo
My addiction, my addiction, my addiction. Huh!

Cover art for My Addiction lyrics by Rehab

The first time I heard this song, back I was still doing drugs and they weren't yet doing me -- I wet my pants laughing. A little further into my addictions, after my old man went to jail strung out on meth, I listened to this song over and over the whole way to the jail to visit him. It was my attempt at a reality check, I was trying to confront my problem with his cause he was just a little further gone than me. But I kept on using until I found myself just exactly as hopelessly degraded as this song expresses. Not laughing anymore.

I hope you are doing better nicole, I beat a 10 year heroin/methadone addiction, there is hope, as someone famous once said, George Clinton? Free your mind and your ass will follow.
