Lie

I'm not sure what the first part means but i'm fairly confident that in the second verse he's talking about how everybody in society just follows one another and they don't really think for themselves, "I follow these pigs around." He wants to get away from that, "I'm crawling my way to the surface outside."

I'm a cabbie and drive the night shift in the ghettos. This song really speaks to me about what I do for a living these days....ugh, I need a vacation.

What does he mean by "now I'm burning alive just like you"? He's suffering from his personal behavior like they are?

I agree with the whole hollywood thing.

I think the first part is about how he is creating a lie to the rest of the world. Just how some other celeberties did.

Now hes making a house to try to hide the truth from everyone and make everyone believe that the other story he told is true and to do it he must keep confidence or it will all fall apart.

Now he is trying to convince himself that this is who he really is. But is having trouble and that the little boy knows its not true and is trying to free him from his lies.

I saw an interview with wes and he said that his lyrics are wrote in a way as so YOU can relate to them. Of coarse he has his own meaning but this song can portray so many meanings that it is hard to tell which is the definite one.

For Borlands meaning I think it is the time he spent with Limp Bizkit.......

yeah as it is said before this song is about not being independent. This reallly spoke to me last year because i followed a group of so called "friends" around and it seemed to me that they did act like pigs and i never felt like i fit in. Now however i am independent and although at first i didnt have any real friends i found that finding friends that are actually real are far more satifying

"now im burning alive just like you" means that he is going to hell just like the rest of you

Humanity is horrible.
