It seems pretty clear this is an anti-suicide song.

Even though the song is still quite sad, it is pretty refreshing to hear. It seems like a lot of bands these days are pumping out songs simply about dying or killing oneself, but here's a song that says "don't do it!"

I think a message can be found in this song telling people on the edge to remember that no matter how bad they feel their life has become, there is always someone out there who loves them and would certainly "scream in the night" for them to not jump and remember the people who love them.

this is a really good song from Tokio Hotel, I admit the music video is sad, But I think it means anti suicide like there are more things in life, and you can turn it around and do better, besides do that killing yourself, And I think it means he also proberly had a friend also that committed suicide and tryed to save him but he did not wanna listen, But Tokio Hotel are the best band all there songs are good, I love Bill and Tom, and Gerog, Gustav is cute.

Yeah, I agree I do think the song is saying you can turn your life around. And that you don't have to do the last resort.

Bill said himself, that from the moment when a tear falls down from his eye in the video, everything just happens in his head. From that moment on, he only thinks those things, and at the end he doesn't jump because he decided not to. So yeah, it alll happened in his head, that's why they showed that moment with the tear at the end also.

this song helped me through a really tough time when i gave up on life. (things really were not working for me.) just kind of a weird depression, i basically didn't see the point in anything every existing. I have decided there is no point but that i might as well, since i'm here, try to help others... Tokio Hotel helped me. THANK YOU! i love the lyrics in general. Great song. sad video. hopeful, etc. :)

this is my favorate song by TH, although I discovered the english version ("Don't Jump") first it honestly saved my life. And thank you poserscenemokid for sharing that information, but I think the others are valid too, and the song is a good messege for any angsty teenager -or person- to hear.

This video was kind of sad. I think that he's talking about a friend that may have committed suicide via jumping from a building. And I think he was trying to save the friend. I could be wrong. After all, only the writer knows the meaning.

are you people seriously that dense? yes the song is anti-suicide, but bill wrote it about a girl that jumped off a building and killed herself because she couldn't be with him. it happened shortly after they got really famous. it wasn't in the news that much, but i happened. and the girl had a horrible life. so Bll was the best thing going for her. and when he heard about it, he was devestated. so that is what the song is about and why it was written.
