Touch Up Lyrics
All my makeup it has washed off I need a touch up
Mascara all up in my eyes, chemical hair dyes and highlights
Higher than my lights, higher than highlights
My makeup, it has washed off. I need a touch up
I need a makeover dream, exfoliant cream
Irons and proteins for my size
Cucumbers on my eyes
Tenderize my thighs
Film and foam
Tanner for skin tone
Nuclear bath balm
My makeup has washed off I need a touch up
I need a touch up
Need a nip and a tuck, need to be cropped and cut
I need a touch up I need a haircut,
Need a shave and a pluck to help me get me fucked
I am a makeover queen a swan out of duckling
Ugly duckling you're drowning in makeup
My makeup has washed off
I forget that I can remember when I was young climbing up fences
Scraping my knees, dirt on my cheeks
Not one makeover queen bone in me
I recall the door bell was ringing and there were Avon ladies singing wholesale
My makeup, it has washed off
I need a touch up
Mascara all up in my eyes, chemical hair dyes and highlights
Higher than my lights, higher than highlights
My makeup, it has washed off. I need a touch up
Irons and proteins for my size
Cucumbers on my eyes
Tenderize my thighs
Film and foam
Tanner for skin tone
Nuclear bath balm
My makeup has washed off I need a touch up
Need a nip and a tuck, need to be cropped and cut
I need a touch up I need a haircut,
Need a shave and a pluck to help me get me fucked
I am a makeover queen a swan out of duckling
Ugly duckling you're drowning in makeup
My makeup has washed off
Scraping my knees, dirt on my cheeks

I agree with the above poster. The meaning of this song is pretty easy to deduce. Looking at it overall, it talks about how we are born innocent, but are warped and indoctrined by our society to focus on physical and surface level aesthetics, rather than inner beauty.
Guess who's side these guys would be on in the Nature vs. Nurture debate :D
To me, this song is about people who are obsessed with how they look. But really, we don't need that, people. We just need to be ourselves. At the end when they're talking about being young and no makeover queen bone in their bodies they're saying this isn't something that's always been with them. It's something that was taught to them. Especially you women. Just realize you're beautiful how you are.
Yeah, pretty straightforward song. I agree with the above comments. Girls in our society are too concerned about their appearances and forget that looks don't last, and that there's more to life than just looking good.
For me, so many years, hell almost a decade later, this is still the coolest and wittiest song they've ever made and I've been a career-long fan so far, but this one always gets me going.
