Accordion Song Lyrics
Please could you
Turn around
Drop your dress
On the ground
Step up here
Stand right there
Don't be shy
Cause you have fair skin
And we are fair men
You have fair skin
And we are fair men
Try not to move
Cause if you do
We may not
Capture you
Where we want to
We're tired too
We're paying you
To be very still
Cause we cannot get through
To the people without you
The people want you
We're tired too
We're paying you
To be very still
Cause we cannot get through
To the people without you
The people demand you
Cause you have fair skin
And we are fair men
You have fair skin
And we are fair
Turn around
Drop your dress
On the ground
Step up here
Stand right there
Don't be shy
Cause you have fair skin
And we are fair men
You have fair skin
And we are fair men
Cause if you do
We may not
Capture you
Where we want to
We're tired too
We're paying you
To be very still
Cause we cannot get through
To the people without you
The people want you
We're tired too
We're paying you
To be very still
Cause we cannot get through
To the people without you
The people demand you
Cause you have fair skin
And we are fair men
You have fair skin
And we are fair

It sounds like someone was payed to be a nude model for a drawing/painting class. But what does she mean when she sings "We cannot get through to the people"? Why would the art teacher try to get through to his students? hmmm...anybody?
Whether it's a class or an actual artist(s), they are using the model to create meaning through the painting. As in, the style of the drawing/painting or the pose she is in.
