Its actually Pauper with potential.
Because he is talking about how he isnt a prince but he has petential as a normal person. Sorry i just thought i would point that out.. =]

i agree with the post above. it's meant to be pauper. this song is so sweet indeed. and i'm not being bias because i happen to love the two dancers on sytycd (sabra & dominic). no, this song is amazing on its own. i think it's about this guy who is in a relationship with a girl but it's not going that great. they get into fights and stuff but even so, they have to get through it and "make it work". yeah, just my take. cool song anyway. :)

the lyrics are so sweet and realistic. relationships can be hard but what really counts is how you're willing to stick to each other through "thick and thin." nobody's perfect so you can't just give up when a problem occurs.
i really like that part when he says "time and patience is essential" - it's like he's trying to be a better man for her. and "my problems are yours and yours are mine" totally makes me weak!
