Monster (Demo Version) Lyrics

His little whispers,
"Love me. Love me."
That's all I ask for,
"Love me. Love me."

He battered his tiny fists to feel something
Wondered what it's like to touch and feel something

Monster, How should I feel
Honest romance,
Looking through the windows,
I will hear their voices,
I'm a glass child,
I am Hannah's regrets

That night he caged her,
Bruised and broke her,
He struggled closer,
Then he stole her.

Violet wrists and then her ankles, Silent pain
Then he slowly saw his nightmares were his dreams

Oh, oh
Cheap love and cheap skin
Oh, oh
It speaks and he lives

Monster
How should I feel?
Honest romance
Looking through the windows
I will hear their voices
I'm a glass child
I'm Hannah's tears and regrets

There he goes, There he goes
He's dipping all down to the floor
Turn around, Turn around
They're running him into the ground
Secret safe, Secret sound
Don't let him know that he is dead
He's in the same bloody hall with a size twenty heart
Drinking his own black blood

Monster, so who's the monster?

Monster! How do I feel? How do I feel?
Monster! How do I feel? How do I feel?

So he turned the sheets down,
And fell into a sleepless dream
Of bathtub's full of kerosene and glow flies,
All the lovely clouds in black and white
And he carved up room keys and closed his ears with pillow lace,
Their words murder to his ears somehow got tattooed in his veins.

Ok, i love this song! thank you so much Heywood for getting the lyrics to the demo! They were almost impossible to find! i'm almost positive that i like the demo better than the actual version...but both are extremely excellent!

i had a strange feeling it was about a baby out of rape that was aborted or getting aborted. idk. maybe the fetus is craving for the mother to love it but the mother wants to get rid of it due to its unfortunate conception. she feels like a monster because she wants to get the abortion...

When it comes to the first stanza your all wrong except those who realize it is the rapist himself. There have been studies shown that baby's who do not get attention in their early years will try earnestly to attract attention. then they get angry. over all this leads to being emotionally detached as a child soldier from WWII Germany or China. furthermore the end talks about the rapist killing himself. this happens very often out of guilt at an advanced age of these "monsters"

just my take though.
