Ones and Zeros Lyrics
I know your bodys like a cloud
Floating around the softer side of things you know
I know you like to let it out
For me it's just a kind of pressure coming out
Oh no how did it come to this
Making your way back home
Thinking oh no what is it about this
Trying to break the cold
I bet there's something in the air
A tiny drug to keep our bodies unaware
This little fractures wearing out
For me it's nothing but the numbers adding up
Oh no how did it come to this
Making your way back home
Thinking oh no what is it about this
Trying to break the cold
Floating around the softer side of things you know
I know you like to let it out
For me it's just a kind of pressure coming out
Making your way back home
Thinking oh no what is it about this
Trying to break the cold
A tiny drug to keep our bodies unaware
This little fractures wearing out
For me it's nothing but the numbers adding up
Making your way back home
Thinking oh no what is it about this
Trying to break the cold

Great song with equally great music! Although a slight error on one of the lines. The line: 'Trying to break the cold' I think is actually: "trying to break the code" because its talking about the numbers and the song is called 'Ones and Zeros' which are binary code. Anyway, not sure what the song is about, can anyone shed some light? x
Yeah, it's definitely code. Can't find lyrics ANYWHERE that have it as code though, they all say cold. Then again, they were probably all by the same person, because they're all missing the apostrophe on "body's".
I'd like to think it's NOT about a girl, just because it's so...cliche. I'd like to think Thirteen Senses is above that.
I think maybe it's about how society today keeps trying to ignore things that aren't convenient - "Floating around the softer side of things you know" - and how we don't care about things as much anymore, everything's all...mechanical and unemotional, like binary.
But then that's a little hypocritical, because in the third verse, he blames it on a "tiny drug", and if the point is to say we don't like to think about inconvenient things, it's hardly fair to blame it on a drug instead of society.
But anyway, great song. I LOVE the atmosphere, it's brilliant.
I think this song is about someone who find this amazing person... and he falls in love with her, and he finds out that she is a completely different person from others he have found before, and he is so amazed and desconcerted about her, that he gets into a confusion, because she breakes his binary code (ones and zeros), and when I say that, I mean that she breaks all his expectations, and for him she's the most special and incredible person he have ever found. They seem to be very attracted by each other, but he just can't understand his feelings...
