I can't believe nobody commented in this song yet. This is the opening theme of "Ergo Proxy". As for the meaning, it's a confession of total love... :)

It's a song about the deepest love, that special someone. And it also happens to be the one of best intro's in anime history to one of the best anime's ever. Great song

This is such a beautiful, beautiful song. I cry whenever I hear it. I first heard it watching Ergo Proxy and it literally took my breath away. I was left stunned and emotional, and I love Monoral for being able to do that to me.

Whenever I listen to the song I associate it with Ergo Proxy of course. And if you have an open mind you can almost hear "I'm a Demon", which strikes as being quite relevant to the character Vincent Law. Agree Perhaps?

Amazing song.. so many emotions in this one. From Ergo proxy's context this song becomes even more beautiful and meaningful after the last two episodes when you learn about the actual singer and his/her tragic context for the song. Those lines "come and save me" hits you with far more gravity.

"Kiri" sounds like it is short for "kirisuto" the Japanese word for "Christ" -- a.k.a, Jesus [the] Christ, which would make sense given the lyrics about faith, salvation, 'believing in me', and drinking the wine (his blood) as explained in the last supper and shed on the cross.
