i think song is about someone who is losing control and their trying to self-medicate to forget about their problems or something along those lines...

It's about someone who's is being consumed by their huge drinking consunmption. And losing their morals, memory, themselves.

"When you're coming so unglued" "Here is a message.." "Be what you want to be.." etc. etc.

I think this song is about another person acting…fake? Acting like something else because he says “acting like this you know you’ll get the first prize”. Then he is drinking and leaving a message saying that she/he/whoever/whatever is getting out of hand. He writes a note for their book, showing which side is filled with lies. Hes saying to be what they want to be when theyre doing what they do while they just keep getting out of hand. Argh - his lyrics are too amazing to try to put into any other words to help each other understand.

i think that it is about someone seeing a friend's life fall apart.

pride always comes before the fall and that's basically explained in the begininning about how sickness makes us larger..

then that pride leads to the breakdown of other things..

"becoming unglued", drinking, lieing about your condition.
