Bedtime Prayers Lyrics
It seems like no one sees the oblivious
It seems like no one cares to try to understand
A map and some sense is all you need to get the bloody picture clear
They breed their traditions, passing their
God on to the new blood, wide open for reception
It seems like no one sees the oblivious
It seems like no one cares to try to understand
Look; we`ve got the pagans in south - feeding their gods
Jesus disciples in our TV - needing their god
We breed the beliefs
Again and again we breed beliefs
Still the picture ain`t bloody clear
The bombs are since birth attached to out bodies for infidels, all ready for destruction
Look; we`ve got the pagans in south - feeding their gods
Jesus disciples in our TV - needing their god
We breed the beliefs
The bedtime prayer continues
A well meaning mother continues
Look; we`ve got the pagans in south...
It seems like no one cares to try to understand
They breed their traditions, passing their
God on to the new blood, wide open for reception
It seems like no one cares to try to understand
Jesus disciples in our TV - needing their god
We breed the beliefs
Still the picture ain`t bloody clear
The bombs are since birth attached to out bodies for infidels, all ready for destruction
Jesus disciples in our TV - needing their god
We breed the beliefs
A well meaning mother continues
Look; we`ve got the pagans in south...

This is obviously about religion and how it's preached everywhere you go. I think he's just saying to look beyond it to find your own spirituality maybe, cause the 2nd verse, 1st line reads that way. Anyways, awesome song and album.
This song is about how religion is a lie and how everyone cant see that. 'A map and some sense is all you need to get the bloody picture clear' Brilliant song and I strongly agree with the meaning. Im lovin' this album.
I think it's about how parents introduce their children into religion and tell them that it is fact, when even the parents themselves don't understand it, and they don't give the kids a chance to decide for themselves. Religion is introduced to children at such an early age, they almost have no choice but to believe in it, since it is imbued so deeply in their lives. They never get a chance to see things from another perspective.
